Online learning has become increasingly popular in the past 12 months as it provides flexible learning from the comfort of your own home and at your own pace. IPAF’s eLearning programme provides an enhanced online learning experience for the MEWP operators and MEWPs for Managers training programmes. The course is broken up into manageable sections; complete the theory part of your training at your own pace, you can save and resume your training at any time making it easy to pick up from where you left off.
What is the IPAF eLearning programme?
The IPAF MEWP operator eLearning course promotes the safe and effective use of powered access. IPAF’s eLearning provides a flexible and enhanced online learning experience for mobile elevating work platform operator training programmes.
What does the course involve?
Online learning doesn’t have to mean boring and noninteractive – in fact, it’s quite the opposite! During the IPAF eLearning online course, you will receive the same level of high-quality theory training that you would in the classroom. This course offers a fun, interactive learning method by incorporating games, quizzes, videos and simulations.
Once at the end of the online theory module, you will be asked to complete the eLearning theory test. This clever system uses facial recognition software allowing you to securely complete this all online. Then, get back in touch with the IPAF-approved training centre you made the purchase through to book in for your practical training assessment. To receive your PAL card you will need to pass both the eLearning theory test followed by a minimum half-day of practical training at the IPAF-approved training centre you originally booked through.
What categories are available?
The MEWP Operator course is available for all MEWPS categories (1a, 1b, 3a, 3b) and will take a total of 3 hours to complete, depending on your level of MEWP knowledge and how many breaks you take throughout.
