FAQ’S
What is an IPAF qualification?
The International Powered Access Federation (IPAF) training programme is recognised all over the world. Developed by leading industry professionals, an IPAF qualification is one of the most valuable that you can hold. IPAF courses cover the following: mobile elevating work platforms (MEWPs) including boom, scissor, 1b, 3a and 3b categories of machine. We welcome so many delegates to our training centres and online courses, and a member of our team would be more than happy to advise you on which training course is the most suitable for you. Get in touch today, and they will answer your questions.
How long does the course take to complete?
An IPAF course can vary from ½ day to 1 day in length, making them ideal for those with busy schedules. Here at Harrington Safety, we know that time is of the essence for a number of our delegates. You can rest assured that our courses are led by punctual tutors who will be able to cover all the necessary information with ease during the session(s). We do offer a range of different class times, as we try to accommodate those who aren’t available during working hours. We also offer E-Learning for those who prefer to train online.
How long does an IPAF certificate last?
Once you have completed your IPAF training, you will then be issued a certificate. This shows the level of training you have completed and will also state an expiry date. The IPAF courses are all valid for 5 years. Once this has passed, you will need to re-qualify in order to retain your card – something we’ve made so easy. We don’t recommend letting your certificate expire before you take the course again. Talk to us a little while before, and we will be able to help you continue to hold your certificate with no bumps in the road.
