Who Is the Operators Course For?
Our MCWPS & Construction Hoists Training has been put together for anyone who works in the construction sector and other industries that use MCWPs and Construction Hoists onsite. These Operator courses are focussed on the user being taught how to correctly and safely use Hoists and MCWPs.
What Else Should I Know About the Training?
When you take our MCWPS & Construction Hoists Training course, you can expect to cover what you need to know for the safe and effective use of MCWPs and CHs onsite. This includes;
- Being aware of the relevant health and safety regulations
- To be capable of the safe operation of a MCWP of Construction Hoist
- To be aware of, and able to use, the correct emergency procedures and systems of a MCWP or Construction Hoist to enable its safe operation in an emergency
- Knowing that referring to the machine Operating Manual is required
- Being capable of carrying our pre-use/daily checks
Your training will be delivered by an experienced IPAF instructor, and you will benefit from their on-site expertise as you work your way through a wide range of scenarios. At the end of the course, you will have gained a deep understanding of how to approach worksite projects using best practice.
What Happens After the Course?
Upon completing the theory, you’ll take a theory test then move onto the practical training. Once successfully completed, you’ll gain an IPAF qualification valid for 5 years. This IPAF Powered Access Licence (PAL), is issued to you via the IPAF ePAL app.
