Our training

First of all, what is IPAF? It stands for the International Powered Access Federation (IPAF). This is the number one accrediting body and authority for mobile elevated work platforms – which are more commonly referred to by the acronym MEWPs within the industry. Around 100,000 people are trained to use MEWPs safely every year, which makes IPAF courses some of the most popular in the industry. Here at Harrington Safety, we guide many delegates to success.

We provide training across all the main IPAF categories. These are as follows: 1a – static vertical, 1b – static boom (trailer, truck mounted and spiders), 3a – mobile vertical (scissor lift), 3b – mobile boom (cherry picker) and PAV – push around vertical. Depending on your role, you may be a suitable candidate for any number of these.

We are an accredited IPAF approved training centre, marking us out as one of the best places to complete your training.
