PASMA training courses are aimed at personnel who will be responsible for the assembly, dismantling, alteration, moving and inspection of mobile access towers.
Harrington Safety PASMA courses will provide workers with the necessary health and safety knowledge to safely work with mobile access towers and platforms. We also offer a range of PASMA weekend courses, available to those who work full-time, have a busy schedule, and would struggle to fit this in during the week.

What type of PASMA training courses are available?
Harrington Safety offers the following PASMA training courses during the week and on the weekends, from just half a day in duration.

Low level
Low level
This course is designed for users of low level access equipment of less than 2.5 metres in height and made from materials including folding step units and folding towers units. Course delegates will learn about:
- Applicable regulations
- Relevant legislation
- Product standards
- Potential hazards and fall protection
- Low level unit inspections
- PASMA Code of Practice
Towers and low level combined
This course covers both Towers for Users and the Low Level Access qualifications. Meaning that candidate numbers are reduced. Anyone working with standard mobile access towers and low level access equipment of less than 2.5 metres in height will benefit from this combined course.
You can expect to learn:
- Current regulations, legislation and applicable guidance for those working at height with low level access units
- How to assemble, modify or dismantle low level units as well as standard mobile access towers without risk of personal injury to the delegate or others
- About identifying potential hazards and best practices for fall protection
- How to conduct standard mobile access tower and low level access unit inspections and complete the relevant documentation
- PASMA Code of Practice
Towers for Managers
Any managers or supervisors who are responsible for overseeing operations on mobile access towers must attend a PASMA course designed for managers. This course focuses on the careful planning and organisation of such work to ensure that a safe working environment is created.

WAH Novice
This is a half day course which is designed as an introduction to anyone who is new to working at height. You will learn:
- All forms of AIF access equipment
- Information about the use of mobile access towers
- Current legislation and applicable regulations and guidance
- How to meet your responsibilities under the Work at Height regulations
How long is PASMA certification valid for?
Following successful completion of a PASMA course, your certification will be valid for 5 years. After this time, it is recommended that you refresh your qualifications. This ensures that your knowledge stays current and is updated regularly with best practices in the industry.
